What we collect on this website
When you join early access, we collect:
- your email address,
- how well you know racing (new, some, or experienced),
- your province or territory, if you choose to give it,
- the date and time you joined, and a one-way fingerprint of your IP address used only to block spam.
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Your theme choice and a few display preferences are stored in your own browser only.
How we use it
We use your information to invite you to test StableBet, send testing updates, and understand the mix of beginner and experienced testers. We do not sell or rent it, and we do not share it with sportsbooks or betting operators.
Your consent and choices
We only add you to the list if you tick the consent box. Every email includes a way to unsubscribe. You can ask us to see, correct or delete your information at any time by replying to any StableBet email.
Where it is stored and for how long
Sign-up information is stored in a private file on our web host, outside public access. We keep it until StableBet launches publicly or you ask us to remove it, whichever comes first, and then delete it unless you have chosen to stay in touch.
The StableBet workspace
The StableBet app runs locally on your computer. Your stable, notes and paper-bet history are stored on that computer. The app fetches public racing information from the internet but does not upload your notes to us.
Canadian privacy law
We handle personal information in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). If you have a concern we cannot resolve, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
